The idea
The workbook was not the problem. It already contained the right logic. What it needed was a clearer experience for the people planning the year and the people checking their allowance.
The response
The logic was carried into a purpose-built holiday system with a clean calendar, team views, entitlement summaries and more natural day-to-day controls.
What changed
A familiar process became easier to share, easier to read and better suited to the people using it every day.
